Golf Courses in Bansko

General Information: Located at the foot of the Pirin mountain Bansko is the greatest Bulgarian ski resort. The town is situated in Blagoevgrad Region, 160 km away from Sofia.
The geographical location high in the mountain and the technical capability of the resort with its more than 160 snow cannons secure snow coverage from December to May.
The exciting mixture of well prepared ski tracks, modern lift infrastructure, many attractions, beautiful nature and warm hospitality suits skiers of all abilities and ages in just the right way.

Ski, Spa & Golf: During the last several Bansko proved to be the most modern and attractive mountain resort for ski, spa & golf tourism.
The resort offers excellent conditions for all winter sports with its 56 km ski slopes and modern equipment for both advanced and beginner skiers. The resort is also rich in minerals springs and offers unique Spa & Wellness facilities and services.

Bansko Golf Courses: The first golf course in Bansko - Pirin Golf and Country Club located in Betlovoto Site officially opened doors September 2008.
The new golf complex, which is to be enlarged in future, is owned by Balkanstroy joint-stock company. More than 60 million Levas have already been invested in the project. The construction of Pirin Golf and Country Club started three years ago on the project of the legendary golf player Yan Woosnam.
The resort, known also as Pirin Golf Resort or Pirin Golf Holidays Club (all names refer to one and the same development) is being developed as a 5-star fully serviced sports, recreational and leisure spot with 2 own golf courses, complete golf infrastructure, international brand 5* hotel, extensive SPA & Wellness centre, luxurious low-density residential buildings and a wealth of amenities.
When finished the luxurious club will offer 5 star hotel complex services, two Championship golf courses, one of the modernist golf academies in Eastern Europe, seven restaurants and bars, trade centres and many opportunities for sports and recreation.

Nearby Razlog Golf Courses: The nearby town of Razlog also offers great possibilities for the development of golf tourism in Bulgaria. The next golf course planned near Razlog is “Kulinoto Ski & Golf”, which is being developed together with Razlog municipal and “Balkanstroy” Company. Except for the golf course, the company will also construct a ski centre with 59 km ski slopes and 20 km lifts. Hotels and residential buildings for around 3000 beds will be constructed close by the equipments.
Four villages in Razlog municipality will also offer golf courses. The names of the villages are: Dobarsko, Godlevo, Gorno Draglishte and Dolno Draglishte.
The complex nearby Dobarsko will be called Rila Golf & Spa Resort.
Godlevo village will feature “White Mountain Golf Club” complex.
The next golf course will be Razlog Golf Club, near Dolno Draglishte, and the last one in Gorno Draglishte will be called “Razlog Valley Golf & Spa”.
The last four golf courts will be related and appropriate to host and organize championship tournaments. The region of Bansko and Razlog is going to soon become a concentrated golf centre of the Balkans and unique four-season destination for keen golfers.
