Service is very bad. You should wait a days for a simple request like a towels, shampoo or toilet paper. Breakfast is on very low level. Rooms are big, but not treated and repaired.

We could only book half board. Breakfast was inedible and did not try evening meal. Room was ok but tired decoration. Iceberg hotel is quite a walk up hill to ski which was a pain with a 7 year old. Most games in arcade were out of use. Staff were not very friendly. For the cost at half term it was bearable. Hunters ski school was good. The skiing was great and all the bars and restaurants were good and very friendly. We will definitely return to Borovets but will book a hotel nearer the ski area. Bulgariaski were very efficient and would use again.

Food was poor and mostly cold, but you could usually find something to eat,the rooms however were fantastic and very clean.

The hotel was fine for the money but 2-3 star. Most of the staff were very good, but the service was let down by; The man looking after the pool who was very arrogant and rude. He turned the lights off and told the children time up on the ping pong table before they had had their half hour they had paid for. He turned the lights off at 7:40 when the pool is open until 8pm, we did tell him the children were not leaving early this time and he told us that he says when the pool closes but did not want to fetch the manager so we could discuss it with them.
The maid left my room unlocked after 'cleaning', luckily nothing was stolen the reception did apologise. The general level of room cleaning was not good.
The blond lady in the dining room was very aggressive and not at all pleasant to guests. It is a shame we had these problems because I left thinking I will not return. The hotel in general and the reception and bar staff were great and made us very welcome.

Unfortunately Iceberg hotel is not how it is advertised. It is a 2 star hotel not 4. It doesn't actually have certain facilities that it advertises it has. Also you just pay extra for use of sauna and water. No drinking water provided at meals. Extremely rude staff in the restaurant who we had to complain about as they shouted at my partner for getting a glass of water. The food is the most disgusting inedible muck you can imagine do not go half board. If you stay here- it's location is good and price- Do not make the same mistake we did do not go half board. Book directly from their website where you can select just bed and breakfast.

Money exchange closes at 22.30, they refused to serve us when we arrived at 22.25. The wifi is not available in the restaurant or the room (39, third floor), only the lobby. The breakfast and dinner buffet food was often cold and unappetising even by Borovets standards, no drinks are served in the restaurant, even at the restaurant bar! You have to walk to the lobby bar and bring your own drinks in to the restaurant. Safety deposit boxes are not available in the rooms, only at reception and cost extra per day. Beds are basic and the bottom sheet doesn't cover the mattress. Room doors are locked with a standard key, not a magnetic lock, the room can be locked from the outside or the inside with the key and the key must be used to open it. Shower water pressure is good and temperature constant and reliable. There was no bath in our room. No ironing board or iron in the room. No hairdryer in the room. Bathroom kit consisted of shower gel, shampoo and a bar of soap. Check out is at 12pm. Windows are sound proof but our door did not seal correctly and the walls/doors are thin so we were regularly woken up - take ear plugs. TV in the room is flat screen with modern connections and plenty of channels. Luggage storage is free and although the door to the storage room gets locked, there is no ticketing system.

In general, this is what you might expect from a hotel in Borovets at this price, but the listing on bulgariaski.com is misleading and should be changed or the hotel should fix these problems. These minor issues aside (they are many but all minor in my view), the hotel is a warm temporary home and in a good location.

Bulgaria Ski needs to specifically state what information is required from the guest regarding transfers at the first mention of transfers - flight number, date and time of arrival and terminal.
Also, request a contact (phone number, email etc) that will be accessible during the holiday in case guest needs to be contacted during the holiday. Make guest aware that this contact method should be checked regularly before and during the holiday.
If an attachment is sent to you via email, but your virus softwear deletes the attachment, please ask for the details to be sent through again in a different format, rather than simply not replying, because the guest then assumes that the information in the attachment has been recieved.

The only bad impression that I had was that even I had a room at the 7th floor there was noise from the disco every night. Its very bad for families with small kids. Apart from that I had a good imression from other services.

Everything was very good and well organized! I found much help from BilgariaSki, they answered to every email that i sent and also sent me vouchers and contact person 3days before my flight to Borovets. There is ample information on the site, however where one doesnt understand, an email is all that is needed, as one will get as much help as need be. Last but not least, i would like to reserve a BIG and SPECIAL THANKYOU to our tour organizer HRISTO MANOV for all his help, patience and professionality that he gave us during out stay in Borovetz. Many thanks to HIM for making our holiday to spectacular and wonderful. Keith & Janica from Malta.

In the hotel:
Difficulties to provide paper for the WC. It must be a luxury article.
Poor breakfast. Level of two stars hotel.
Rude and unpolite staff. The are able to shout you when you seat down in the lobby.
