Dobrinishte organized a winter fiesta on 21 February 2010. The municipality and the local sport association, organized a sport event for Alpine skiing for “Dobrinishte 2010” cup. Guests of the event were the mayor of Bansko Mr. Alexander Kravarov and his wife Natalia, the head of the centre for child care Emilia Vishnina and teachers from the ski clubs in the municipality. Streets and the main square in Dobrinishte will be rehabilitated, BGN 600,000 will invest Bansko municipality in infrastructure projects in the area. The perspectives for development of Dobrinishte as a spa and mountain ski resort put forward the issues for the access roads to the town and the need of public works. The ski season in Dobrinishte is officially opened. Skiers and snowboarders enjoy excellent skiing conditions and snow cover over 150 cm.

The ski season in the Pirin Mountain started on Saturday. The ski lifts in Dobrinishte are already operating and the ski slope over Dobrinishte is perfectly maintained. The Orbel Development company has announced the start of a project for the construction of a ski zone in Bansko area resort Dobrinishte.

Orbel Development, a partnership between construction company Galchev Engineering Group and Austria's Norema Tourist Holding Company, won a procedure invited by the Bansko municipality to select an investor for the development of the site.

Orbel Development AD, the company to build and complete the Dobrinishte Ski Zone project, hailed on October 18 in Dobrinishte the start of the project, Dnevnik business daily reported on October 19 2007.

The company, a joint venture between Austria's Norema tourist holding and Bulgarian developer Galchev Engineering Group, had procured all regulatory nods.

Orbel has been registered as a company as of September 26 2007.

The choice of investor, who will construct the ski centre over Dobrinishte in Pirin Mountain, is legal. This was announced by the municipal governor of Blagoevgrad Vladimir Dimitrov.
The counselors have already authorized the Mayor of Bansko – Mr. Alexander Kravarov to start talks with the company that won the bid.
The company of the construction enterpriser Nikolai Galchev “Galchev Engineering Group” will invest over 200 million BGN in the project.
