Thracian gold will be displaied at the Louvre

A French delegation representing the Louvre Museum visited Bulgaria at the invitation of the Bulgarian Minister of Culture Vezhdi Rashidov. It was in connection with the forthcoming Bulgarian exhibition in the world-famous museum in Paris, where treasures from the Thracian civilization will be displayed. Minister Rashidov managed to negotiate this exhibition in 2012 with the President of the Louvre Henri Loyrette. The exhibition will take place on April 16, 2014, Minister Rashidov confirmed. Central to the event will be the display of a bronze head of the Thracian ruler Sevt 3 as well as unique finds from his tomb.
