The first international cruiser ship for 2008 has landed today at Svishtov port
160 tourist from Great Britain visited Swishtow as part of the tour program of the cruiser ship "Johan Straus" at 7.30 AM this morning. The route of the ship starts from Passau (Germany).The program incudes visits of the cities of Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, Svishtov and Rousse. International port Svishtov registered more than 19 000 visits for 2007. In comparison in 2006 the passengers were just 5 000 people.
95 international cruiser ships landed in Svishtov last year. For 2008 their number is expected to increase significantly.
