Bulgarian team of archaeologists unearthed the settlement near the town of Provadia which dates back to 4700 B.C. Archaeologists assume that the village was well known for its production of salt.
The remains of the town consist of parts of two-storey houses, a number of pits used for rituals, as well as remains of gates.
