The House of St. George

Location: The house of St. George is a traditional walled farm in the pretty village of Velchevo. Velchevo is a farming village situated 12km southeast of the picturesque town of Veliko Tarnovo. The village is easily reached by road, it takes about 10 minutes from Veliko Tarnovo. There is a general store in the village that sells basic provisions and a doctor lives in the house along the street from farm.

The House of St. George: The farm itself comprises the main house (which has been restored in traditional style), a converted barn and pretty garden with a heated pool and covered barbeque area. The whole complex is surrounded by a high dry-stone wall, providing privacy and security. The house can comfortably accommodate 9 people. In addition, a cot provided for a baby if required.

Main house: Offers hall, toilet, double bedroom, 3 single bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, dining room (seating up to 12 people), kitchen (fully equipt), lounge/mehana (with fireplace);

Converted barn: hall, double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom;

Garden: covered outdoor barbeque area with electricity and running water, large garden with night-time illumination, heated swimming pool (8m x 4m)., gravel parking area which can accommodate up to four cars.

Facilities: The house offers fully equipped modern kitchen, dishwasher, coffee maker, washing machine / tumble dryer, fridge freezer (large american-style), heated 8m x 4m swimming pool with sun-loungers, satellite tv, dvd home cinema system, bedding, towels (including separate pool towels), games, baby cot, baby high chair, coin operated payphone, security system (including cctv and video entry system).
Children are welcome, however parents are warned that they should be extremely vigilant because of the swimming pool in the garden, especially if children are not strong swimmers.
