A truly rare Gem of a hotel, over seen by the owners Irene and George along with their family and wonderful front of house staff Vanya. The service is next to none and extends to make your stay very enjoyable. We can only say that a stay at the Old Town Hotel, Vidin will make your stay if on business or pleasure this bespoke hotel with quality fittings and unique paintings by local artists will set the atmosphere of home from home, with in room internet and phone, fridge and soft furnishing, this is more than a three star hotel, and as a hotel manger of over 25 years i know a thing or two. so if you are looking for a hotel, 2 minutes walk to the Danube and park and next to the city gates and extensive quality shops, book at the Old Town Hotel, and get your holiday off to the best start every. This place is wonderful! We stayed in the hotel while we were looking for a property in the Vidin region. A great deal of work has gone into making the accomodation pleasing to the eye, as well as clean and comfortable, and the location is ideal - a few minutes walk from the Danube and right next to the main square and one of the old town gates. But it's the owners that really made our stay.

In addition to the already-mentioned lovely facilities, we found the family that run it, as well as the rest of the staff, to be friendly, cheerful, warm, and helpful. Everyone worked very hard to make our stay as pleasant as possible, and when they weren't running around making sure the hotel was perfect, we had many opportunities to talk to them about Vidin, Bulgaria, and themselves. Without meaning to gush, we can't say enough good things about them.
