Albena offers a vast sandy beach which is more than 5 km long and 150 m wide and is operating all year round. The resort is situated just 14 km north of the “Golden Sands” and 32 km away from Varna city.

Mineral waters: The resort offers mineral waters with temperature up to 30̊ C with a total debit of 103 l/ sec. These valuable natural recourses have the following physical – chemical characteristics: slightly mineralized water (0, 614 g/ l), hydrocarbon – magnesium – sodium, with slight alkaline reaction (pH 7, 39), oxidizable sulphides aggregates 2 mg/ l and flour 0,3 mg/ l. The mineral waters are pure, without colour with a total water density 17 German degrees with pleasant drinking qualities.

The climate: The climate is typical for the northern part of the Bulgarian Black sea coast with favourable ecologic indexes. Specific sea climate – clear air, rich in salts, ozone, brome, calcium and iodine with optimal humidity o the air: 63 – 65. It is known as an ecology clean resort with fresh and clear air, crystal clear water and mineral water, healing herbs, various natural products and perfectly organized medical and balneology centres with highly qualified personnel.
