Bansko, Bulgaria's biggest ski resort, is the second-cheapest resort for British skiers in the world, according to new research by the Post Office.

Poiana Brasov in Romania came top in a study comparing costs at 12 of the cheapest resorts. At GBP 259.53 for six skiing essentials, including a week's ski pass, ski hire, evening meals and drinks, Poiana Brasov was six per cent cheaper than Bansko in Bulgaria and up to 20 per cent cheaper than Slovenia's Kanin resort.

Fashion Travel Show will take place in Premier Luxury Mountain Resort

Premier Luxury Mountain Resort, has been chosen to host Fashion Travel, during the 21st to 24th of October. The Fashion Show and an official Cocktail Party will be held on the 22nd of October. Bansko received the official prize for a Winter Capital of the Balkans on 30th September.

The prestigious prize was presented on a grandiose ceremony in Novi Sad – Serbia, during the International Tourism Fair in the city.

The decision of the the Balkan Association was supported by the European and World Association of Hoteliers.

The mayor of Bansko noted, that he is happy for the recognition of Bansko. He also stated that Bansko truly deserves the prize for all the improvements made...
