The first tournament M-tel Golf Masters for 2011 will be held at the Pirin Golf and Country club on 28th May 2011. The attractive prizes attracted a record number of golfers.

Over 120 golfers will compete in the tournament, which will start on May 28th at 8.00 o'clock. Bulgarian and foreign golfers with official handicap will have the right to take part in the tournament.

Easter Surprise – Yet another snowy weekend on the slopes in Bansko

The new fresh snow that surprised us few days ago made it possible for all keen skiers and snowboarders to enjoy another long ski weekend on the slopes in Bansko. Everyone is invited to spend the Easter holidays in Bansko. The gondola lift, as well as the two part of the height speed quad from Banderishka polyana to Todorka, together with the new high speed quad will be operating in the ski zone.

Bansko will host a round of the Biathlon European cup 10th to 12ed February, Klasa daily reported.

Tourists will visit free the competition and most probably they will pay discount prices for the cabin lift.

Currently, 210 biathloners from 26 countries confirmed their participation in the round. Among them are participants from Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Belarus, Croatia and UK. Bulgaria will be presented by 13 men and 13 women.

World’s largest travel site TripAdvisor ranks best hotels in the Bulgarian ski resort of Bansko according to foreign tourists’ vote.

A total amount of 82 hotels are included in the chart for Bansko. Three stars hotel Avalon and Lucky Bansko Aparthotel alternated with each other. Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena is ranked after hem.

Bansko ski resort in the Pirin mountain in Bulgaria expects numerous tourists from Russia. By tradition Russian tourists arrive in the Bulgarian mountain resort after the New Year holidays.
"Their vacation starts on January 5 and the good thing is there are no more canceled flights from Russia," Irina Nikulchina - director of Bansko Tourist Association said. Bansko will welcome over 15 000 tourists for New Year Eve. The resort is a preferred place for holiday and celebration for tourists from the neighbouring countries – Romenia, Serbia, Macedonia and Greece. Many tourists from Russia have also chosen the resort for a winter vacation after the holidays.

Bansko ski zone is ready to welcome all keen skiers. The resort offers over 20 cm snow and 230 cannons for artificial snow are ready to operate in case of need of additional snow.
