M Tel Golf Masters

Pirin Golf & Country club hosted the first of the summer tournaments M Tel Golf Masters. Most of the enthusiastic participants arrived in the complex on Friday and started preparing for the tournament on the training field.

84 Bulgarian and foreign golf players participated in the unique tournament, as well as representatives of the diplomatic missions in Bulgaria. Among the guests of the event were the Koreian ambassador Bee-Ho Chun, the Slovakian ambassador Karol Mistrik and the Japanease ambassador Tsuneharu Takeda with his wife.

The awarding ceremony took place in the main Club House.
The special award for “closest to the hole” was given to the Japanease ambassador Mr Takeda, who is also a regular guest of the golf course.
The w inner in the first division Ivan Golemeev, announced that he managed to sign in for the tournament just 10 minutes before the start.

If we try to summon what unites the Bulgarians as a nation during the last few years, the answer will no doubt be – sports. The sport gives us energy. The sport create values fro fair play, partnership and trust. The sport gives every nation a specific identity and a reason to be proud.
