Trek To Sinanitsa Peak, Pirin

Saturday:

- Departure from Sofia to National stadium "Vasil Levski" at 7 o'clock. Transfer to locality “Popina laka” above Sandanski (3 hours)
- A walk through Spano Pole glacial valley to Sinanitsa hut (6 hours). Lunch on the road (dry food)
- Accommodation in "Sinanitsa" hut
- A walk around the lake and watching the sunset
- Supper and sleep

Sunday:

- Ascent to Sinanitsa peak – steep in the beginning
- A traverse through Momin peak and walk back to “Popina Laka” (6 hours)
- Lunch in the Spano pole valley, surrounded by the giants Banderishki chukar and Bashliiski chukar
- A visit to 4 waterfalls in “Popina Laka”
- Transfer to Sofia (3 hours)
- The surprise - a mineral bath, so take your swimming baths

During the trek we will know much more about one of the biggest Pirin’s river – Sandanska Bistritsa, we will visit several lakes and waterfalls, we will see some edelweisses, we will explore the etymology (the legend) of the name Sinanitsa. The end we will finish with a surprise – a mineral pool bath, so take your swimming baths!
