The Belogradchik rocks attract more tourists

Belogradchik marks 12% increase in the number of tourists for 2013, reported the mayor of the town.

Due to financial problems, the municipality cannot allocate advertising budget for its sights, however, interest in them is growing and the local authorities aim to reach 100 000 visitors per year.

At present the fortress is being restored under a project funded by the European Regional Development Program valued at BGN 3 M.
