Dryanovo will host the event “The Balkan sings and talks”

Dryanovo municipal will host the twelfth edition of the traditional holiday “The Balkan sings and tells”. It will take place on 9th June in Dryanovo. Over 400 guests will participate in the event. Organizer of the initiative is Dryanovo Municipal. The main goal of the initiative is to keep the revival spirit of the Balkan towns, acquaintance with the historical past and present. Thus the locals are trying to create communication links between cultural institutions, municipal administrating, art ensembles and ethnographic specialists.
Representatives from the neighboring towns Elena, Kotel, Tryavna, Dryanovo, Tvarditsa and Gurkovo will participate in the event. The official opening will be announced by the mayors of the participating towns.
The next host of the event will be Tryavna town.
The festival is held every year in a different site from the above mentioned towns.
