Pravets Golf Course features 18 hole PGA standard championship golf course completed with a large driving range and putting green. The golf course promises to get a reputation to be challenging, exciting and spectacular. Providing the full functionality needed for international tournaments, while giving great possibilities for training and practice of beginner. The course undulates gently in complete harmony with the surrounding landscape and is a classic Par 72 with two starting and finishing holes and a total length of 6510 metres from the back tees. Most holes have alternative routes of attack and if a player successfully executes a shot over the difficulty route he is rewarded accordingly. A safer alternative is always available, so that the conservative golfer can play safe and away from trouble.

Pravets Golf Club is part of the new Pravets Golf & SPA Resort, surrounding the popular lake of the town of Pravets. The 18-hole Championship golf course is designed by the world famous architect Peter Harradine and his company Harradine Golf and is scheduled to open in June 2010. With the stunning Stara Planina Mountain and picturesque Lake Pravets as its back drop, it is sure to provide a tough but fair challenge for golfers of all abilities. The proximity to the capital Sofia and the incredible mixture of water and mountain coziness is the main prerequisite for the success of the golf club. The driving range is unique for the Bulgarian golf market also with its lighting for dawn or night golfing. The two-tier driving range tee provides the players with a variety of playing distances.
The Pravets Golf Course is a parkland style, par 72, course of 6 510 m in its length. There are 5 tee-boxes at each hole which provides a fair but challenging test for both high and low handicapped golfers. The course boasts tremendous views of the local mountain and lake framed by the impressive RIU Pravets Hotel. The most spectacular hole is No 8, par 3, with an island green and a stone-decorated bridge connecting the fairway and the green. With its gentle undulations Pravets golf course provides an interesting round however the course is an easy walking.
The 15th hole also incorporates water in the game. Low-handicapped golfers can drive a risky shot through the lake. High handicappers could choose alternative ways of attack to the green.
The par-4 16th hole also provides the thrill of playing across the water and is one of the most difficult and challenging holes on the course. Yet, it can still be achieved by beginners. Additionally, there are two natural streams crossing the course and flowing into the lake. 4 500 trees are going to be planted on the course. 1 200 have already been planted. The 9th and the 18th greens are united in one double green, a well-known feature from the St Andrews Old course.
