Lozenets offers the clearest waters on the Black sea

Those who prefer to escape from the hustle and bustle of the expensive resorts, can choose to spend their holiday in Lozenets village near Primorsko.

Examinations show that the sea water in Lozenets is the clearest along the Bulgarian Black sea coastline. The existence of magnesium, calcium, iodine, bromine and etc. is highly appreciated by specialists from all over the world.

The resort settlement was found in 1924, as a holiday site for the residents of the Velika village, as it had no beach frontline.
At first it was called Emberly, after the famous grapes sort, because of the numerous vine massifs nearby. Later it was renamed Lozenets. Now Lozenets is a a typical fishermen village and the cool pubs serve fresh and delicious fish.

The beaches in Lozenets offer fine, golden and soft sand. The resort offers 6 beaches - “The central beach”, “Coral”, “Oasis”, “Mechata dupka” (the bear's den), “The small beach” and “The baby beach”.

The central beach is 700 metres long and offers comfortable sun beds and parasols, as well as a wide choice of snack houses and summer bars.
Numerous facilities for water entertainment can be rented on the beach, like bananas, jets, water wheels and etc.
Other entertaining activities like surf school, horseback riding and fishing are also available.

The “Koral” beach line offers longer sand stripe, compared to the “Central”. It is free of charge, but there ate no sun beds and parasols for rent in the site. However, there is a serf school and is is preferred for a camping site.

The “Oasis” beach is located in the southeastern direction form Lozenets. You can find the same attractions, as on the “Central beach”, plus a diving centre, located on the beach.

The “Mechata dupka” beach is situated right between the Central Beach and “the Koral beach”.
The region also offers a magnificent small bay with no sun-beds or umbrellas. The bay is popular with its unique crystal clear waters, natural lagoon, suitable for small children and babies. It is an excellent site for underwater fishing. The small beach is a thin sand stripe, located in the southeastern part of the village. The coast is surrounded by cliffs from both sides. Naturally many nudist can be seen in the site.
The national park “Strandzha” and the rivers Veleka, Karaag, Dyavolska are also located nearby Lozents. Tourists can take a boat trip along the river, available every day.
