Narechen Baths Spa and Wellness

General information: Narechen Baths is famous Spa resort in Bulgaria. It is 40 km south of Plovdiv and 38 km north of the mountain resort Pamporovo. The resort is located amid the magnificent pine forest on the lovely Assenitsa river in the Rhodope Mountain, at 620 – 660 m altitude.

Mineral springs: The hypothermal mineral waters in Narechen have temperature of 21 – 35 °C and they consist of radon, sulphates and hydro-carbonates of calcinated soda , small quantities of fluorine and they are weakly alkaline.

The climate: Summer is cool and pleasant due to the fresh mountainous breeze, winter is mild with many clear days and autumn is warm and sunny. The average air temperature is 10°C, and the average temperature in July is about 19 – 20°C.

Indications for medical treatment and prophylactic: The mineral waters have an extremely favourable effect for preventive maintenance of functional neurotic disorders, heart diseases, urological diseases and metabolic processes in the human constitution. Specialist have proved the positive effect of Narechenski mineral waters upon stomach, inner organs, gall, respiratory organs and kidneys.
