Summer season 2011 starts in Nessebar

Official opening of the summer season in Nessebar starts on 11th of May with blessing for successful season and health for the inhabitants of Nessebar. The event was held at the church “St. Assumption”.

Tourism season opening become a tradition for Nessebar. The municipality intentions are promoting of Nessebar as destination for alternative types of tourism, said Eli Kirilova – manager of The Department of Culture, Education and International Cooperation.

Nessebar has potential to develop pilgrimage tourism if they restore all the churches and cultural heritage monuments.
