Sofia Hosts Big Air Snowboard World Cup

One of the most attractive for the winter season and first by its kind event for Bulgaria is the World Snowboard Cup in ‘Big Air' discipline.
The competition will take place in Bulgaria's capital, ‘Kniaz Aleksander I' square on December 22, whiteroom.info reported.

Special loading platform with impressive sizes will be constructed for the purpose. The platform will be 31 m high, 100 m long, 25 m wide.

Eco Holiday Village to be Built near Bulgaria's Veliko Turnovo

An expert eco council in the Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water Affairs for Veliko Turnovo approved an investment offer for the construction of a holiday and rural tourism complex in the village of Tsareva Livada, near Veliko Turnovo.

The eco council introduced 19 measures of monitoring and control to guarantee that the construction and the usage of the complex would be nature-friendly. The site was not part of a protected area or zone, the council said.

The First Driving Range on the Black Sea Coast is Now Open

On 12 October Varna Golf Club opened the first driving range on the Black Sea Coast. The party moderated by actor Dimitar Rachkov was attended by over a hundred Bulgarian and foreign guests.

30 Christmas Trees for the Christmas Eve in Sofia, Bulgaria

The capital city of Bulgaria – Sofia(Sofiya) will celebrate the Christmas Eve with 30 Christmas trees on the streets of the city.
Part of the trees will be decorated with energy-saving lighting bulbs, which do not harm the tree branches.
Over 40 companies will take part in the decoration of the streets for Christmas. This year there will be more Christmas stars, lighting bulbs and decorations to entertain the citizens and to bring joyful Christmas atmpsphere.

Bansko Will Develop as an All-year Tourist Destination

The marketing strategy of developing Bansko as an all-year destination for tourism was promoted in the frames of the project for steady development and recovery of the culture and history tourism in Bansko.
