Ski conditions in Chepelare

Chepelare ski centre offers 40 cm excellently maintained snow cover for strong feet and waxed skies. Despite of the low temperatures of -10 degrees, the sun provides excellent mood on the slopes.

Children have fun in the play centre with cradles and huts. Guests of the resort can visit the mountain church on the top of the ski centre.

Bulgaria to expect more Japanese tourists

More Japanese tourists are expecting to visit Bulgaria after Bulgarian Prime Minister Boiko Borisov visit in Japan. For them will be developed special tours in cooperation with organization from tourism branch. Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce announced as quoted by Standard daily.

The Bulgarian delegation is on an official visit in the country from January 22 to 26.

The eco fest Green Days will take place from 28th April to 01 May 2011

This April Sofia is going to turn green! We would be happy if you join us at the eco Festival – Fair “Green Days”, which will take place from the 28th April to 01 May in front of the “Ivan Vazov” National Theater.

Bio certifies food, cosmetics, other goods and services will be presented. Active organizations protecting the bio divercity, natural parks and municipalities will also exhibit their services.

Number of Russian tourists in Bulgaria increases 17 percent

The number of Russian tourists, who have already visited Bulgarian ski resorts or will do it until the end of the winter season 2010/2011, have increased 17 percent in comparison to the data from season 2009/2010. The chairman of the institute for tourism analyses and evaluations Roumen Draganov said as quoted by profit.bg.

Bulgaria is expecting the major number of Russian tourists to come in ski vacation in February, Draganov said.

Svindal and Herbst to ski in Bulgaria’s Vitosha Mountain

Olympic gold medalist in Super G at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver Aksel Lund Svindal and Reinfried Herbst silver medalist from the men's slalom event at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy will compete in a charity competition in Bulgarian Mountain Vitosha, Standard daily reported.
