A total of 73,000 tourists visited the Old Bulgarian capital, the city of Veliko Turnovo (Central Bulgaria) in the first six months of 2007.
The statistics say that almost 24,000 visitors went sigh seeing in Veliko Turnovo from January to March, 2007.
In the next 3 months (April - June) nearly 49,300 tourists visited the city.

The perfume called ‘Palazzo' was presented in Fendi's head office in the centre of Rome Author of the perfume is Francois Demachy.
Except for the traditional Bulgarian savior, ‘Palazzo' contains also essences from orange blossoms, tangerine, bergamot, lemon, pink pepper and jasmine.
Fendi was purchased a couple of years ago from the French stylish monster LVMH.

They are no more dancing bears in Bulgaria, informed from ‘Four Paws' foundation.
Just like in the Wild Wild West, you can find all kinds of wild animals in the bigger Bulgarian cities...but not any more.

A new project for a wider and more convenient road between Danube Bridge 2 and Botevgrad starts today, said the Minister of Regional developments and Public Works.
According to the plan, the new road will be with 4 lanes total and will help reduce the traffic. The next stage of the reconstruction will focus on the water-power system to the city of Montana, comments the Minister Gagauzov.

A total of eleven gold rings, three bracelets and a pair of ear-rings have been found in a Thracian mound between Bulgaria's villages of Topolchane and Kaloyanovo.
The artefacts were discovered in the tombs of three women by the group of one of Bulgaria's best archaeologists Professor Georgi Kitov.
"In 13th-14th century BC there was a medieval settlement near the mound," professor Kitov explained.

On 23 and 24 June in Natural Park “Shoumen Plateau” a traditional folklore festival under the name “Green Suns” will be held.

Kavarna (North-Eastern Bulgaria) is the only Bulgarian municipality honored with European Diploma by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
The proud Mayor of the seaside town Tsonko Tsonev declared that the Diploma is recognition for the municipality's work.

Youth theatre fest will take place from 15 June to 18 June in Vratsa. There will be plenty of music, dances, arts and fun. The last three dancing bears in Bulgaria were transported on Friday to the Bear re-adaptation park in Belitsa, Four Paws Foundation announced.
The foundation bough the three animals from their owners, who used them as an instrument of gaining money, making the bears dance and do tricks on the streets of the local villages and towns.
