Bulgaria’s tourism sector met up with the Ministry of Economy to call for representativeness of industry associations, the possibility to created a united tourism board as well as tourism zoning of the country’s territory. The industry is also seeking the adoption of rules for online tour operators and travel agencies. A second meeting will be held by the end of the summer to discuss specific texts ahead of completion of the bill scheduled for end-September. Industry associations can submit their written proposals by the end of the month. A working group at the economy ministry will choose those that will be included in the project.
