Bulgaria’s Pamporovo ski area has announced plans to build a new POMA six-seater high-speed detachable chairlift between the ski area and the village of Stoikite, turning this existing village in to a ski resort base.
Although construction is yet to commence, the route for the lift has been cleared with trees felled to make way for towers and cables.

A six-seat lift and two new ski runs will be constructed between the Pamporovo winter resort and the village of Stoikite.
The route for the lift has already been prepared and trees have been cleared. The route starts from the centre of the village and reaches Snezhanka peak, Focus news agency reported.

Perelik resort will almost reach the Greek border in the Rodope Mountain. This became clear from the presentation of the future sport tourism centre by the municipal council in Smolyan.
