Emporium Pistiros near the town of Septemvri offers perfect conditions for science tourism

The Emporium Pistiros near the town of Vetren, Septemvri municipality, is the only one ancient trade, centre found in Bulgaria. It is researched during the last 20 years, said Valentina Taneva, the manager of the Archaeological museum in Septemvri. The name of the settlement, Pistiros, and its status of Emporium (trade centre), became famous after a Hellenic inscription was found.
