The hidden pearls of the Black sea

The Black sea in Bulgaria offers 130 kilometers, just beach stripes most of them consist of fine golden sand. In some places the wind has gathered it in elongated sand dunes, giving the coast a peculiar romance.
The rest of the coastline is either high, rocky and the sea surf founded wonderful forms. There are also low and boggy places where the humid and warm air made it overgrowth with plants that some places look like jungles.

Artmospheric festival 2010

The fifth annual edition of Artmospheric festival took place from May 21th (Friday) to May 24th (Monday), 2010 at a new location: an area within Vitosha Natural Park, 1150 m above the sea level, close to the road to the old quarries above Vladaya village, 5 km away from the village and 25 km from Sofia city centre.

First of May Tournament at Pirin Golf & Country Club

First of May Tournament was held yesterday at Pirin Golf & Country Club /May 1st, 2010/.
Besides a nice round of golf on the only mountain golf course in Bulgaria, the participants enjoyed the sunny weather.




The tournament was played on the Ian Woosnam golf course, format Stableford Individual. The participants were divided into three divisions: A (hcp up to 18), B (18.1 – 36 hcp) an C 36.1—54 hcp).

Golf Tournaments in Pravets Colf Club

Pravets Golf Club will mark its official opening on 01 july this year. At first, Bulgarian and foreign golfers will be able to play on 9 of the 18 championship holes, the driving range and use the golf academy. The whole golf cycle of 18 holes is going to be ready in the end of September.

Celebration days of art “Spring in the Ancient Plovdiv” 2010

Series prize: Annual Membership in Pirin Golf & Country Club

On March 28rd Pirin Golf & Country Club started the Pirin Monthly Series for second year. The series of tournaments will be held each month until September. The tournament will be played on the championship golf course Ian Woosnam golf course, format Stableford Individual. The participants will be divided into three groups.

"Sostra" Fortress

“Sostra” is very well preserved complex situated on an ancient roman road “Via Trayana”.

The "Sostra" fortress is a Roman military post, built over the ruins of a Thracian settlement. It is situated 2 km north of of Troyan and 28 km south of Lovech. The site islocated on a relatively flat terrain in the valley of the Osam river.

The origin of the word "sostra" comes form ancient Greek and means girdle, bandage, barrier.

March Ski Break on Borovets

Even though we have just welcomed the spring season here in Bulgaria, my skiing enthusiasm cannot be seized that easily.
I am sure that all of you who had just got back home from the mountain holiday already miss it, just like me right now. It is just not fare to leave that good snow melt away.
