Festival of East Orthodox Music in Sliven

International festival of East Orthodox Music "Nikolay Triandafilov - Slivenets" starts in Sliven.
The festival is part of the official celebrations for the day of Sliven - St. Dimiter's day, reports Sliveninfo.
The festival is under the patronage of Metropolitan bishop of Sliven Joanikii and is sponsored by Sliven Municipality.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sliven bishopric and Zora Culture Club and will be held at "Virgin Mary" Church today and tomorrow. Choirs for East Orthodox music from Russia and Bulgaria will take part in it.
A choir from Croatia is expected to perform Catholic music, as part of the side programs of the festival.
