St. St. Constantine and Helena Spa and Wellness

Location: Constantine and Helena Spa & Wellness resort is situated just 9 km north of the centre of Varna and is one of the most popular resorts on the Northern Black Sea.

St. St. Constantine and Helena is a climatic sea resort of national significance since 1950.

The mineral water in the resort is drawn from several bore-holes. Their physical and chemical characteristics are very similar. The water is slightly mineralized, hydro-carbonate-sodium-chloride, calcium-magnesium, containing hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide.

Application: The mineral water is suitable for spa medication and spa prophylaxis in diseases of the digestive, urinary and metabolic-endocrine systems – applied by drinking procedures; bones and joints, nervous and cardiovascular systems and gynecological organs – by external treatment, inhalation – procedures are also appropriate for respiratory illnesses.

The big flow capacity and the physical and chemical composition of the mineral water and the physical and chemical composition of the mineral water allows its utilization for sports prophylactic purposes, supply of recreation facilities and bottling of natural water. Its high temperature can be used as a source for power generation.
