Unique mosaic was discovered by archaeologists in Stara Zagora cit in Bulgaria.
The mosaic depicts the three figures of Bacchus and two bacchantes, all companions form the suite of God Dionysus, and is an unique finding for Bulgaria. It is believed that the mosaic dates back to the III rd century AC.

Diplomats from different countries will arrive in Stara Zagora, invited by the regional governor Iordan Nikolov. The ambassadors will attend the start of the national project “The birth of Europe History and Reality”, which is being organized in cooperation with the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency to popularize the Neolithic homes in Stara Zagora.

Italy's Gruppo Ciccolella is involved in a feasibility study for a rose production site in Stara Zagora, Southern Bulgaria, news agency BTA quoted company president Vincenzo Ciccolella as saying.

Аccording to Ciccolella, a 70 ha site would enable an annual output of 50 mln roses.

The cost of the investment is estimated at 150 mln euro.

The Italian company hopes to create 300 new jobs with the launch of its rose hothouse operations in Stara Zagora.

'Skate Zagora' 2007 skateboarding competition will take place in the local skateboarders' favorite city for riding - Stara Zagora.
The event will take place оn Friday and Saturday, October 5-6.

On Fiday will be performed demo in front of the municipality building. On the next day will be leaded the contest. It will start at 11.30h and will be divided in 3 rounds: qualifications, semifinal and final.
