An unique Medieval attraction was opened nearby the fortress in the Mezzek village. A military campsite with tent, carts and horse models are just a small part of the attractions which will entertain visitors.

The site offers many more interesting activities, such as paintball, archery, crossbow, lasso throwing and many more. There is also a picnic area with tables and chairs made of tree trunks.

The Turkish businessman Sudi Ozkan researches the property market in the region. He made that announcement on the official opening of Casino “Star Princess”, which is the second casino from the “Princess” chain in the town and the fifth in Bulgaria.
Sudi Ozkan announced that he had so far invested over 100 million USD in hotels and casinos all over Bulgaria.

Turkish businessman Sudi Ozkan plans to build a 5-star hotel in Svilengrad, South-eastern Bulgaria, to cater to the Turkish and Greek customers that will be visiting his casinos in the city., said an official from Princess, an Ozkan company that runs hotels in Sofia and Plovdiv. The company has already bought a land plot for the hotel in immediate proximity to Ozkan's just-opened Nimphes casino in Svilengrad. The Bulgarian unit of French wine and spirits group Belvedere Monday unveiled its Katarzyna Estate wine chateau in Mezek, a village close to the Bulgarian-Greek border in the Svilengrad region.

The 12 euro wine-producing property is surrounded by company-owned vineyards.

Katarzyna Estate comprises 365 ha of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, shiraz, mavrud, ruby cabernet, chardonnay and sauvignon blanc vineyards and several experimental lots with malbec and tempranillo.

Turkish entrepreneur Sudi Ozkan has just opened a $4 mln casino in Bulgarian city Svilengrad, near the border with Turkey and Greece. The casino occupies a former youth center. The businessman plans to build a hotel to accommodate the casino clientele. Ozkan is a key player in Bulgaria's gambling industry. He owns casinos in Sofia's Princess and Rodina hotels. The Trimontium hotel in Plovdiv is also property of the Turkish businessman.

Turkish entrepreneur Sudi Ozkan plans 2 casino openings in Bulgarian city Svilengrad.

Dnevnik learned that work on one of the new casinos, occupying a former youth center, is almost finished and it should open for business in June. The cost of the renovations came in at around $4 mln.

Ozkan-controlled Trimontium Princess Hotel AD bought the youth center in 2006 for 360,000 levs.
