Vratsa – Ledenika & Magura Caves – Belogradchik Rocks

Sofia – Vratsa town — Vratsata rocks – Ledenika cave – Purshevitsa mountain hut – Vidin town - Belogradchik town – Belogradchik rocks – Magurata cave – Bov waterfall

Day 1

Sofia – Vratsa town (110 km, 1 h 30 min) - Vratsata rocks - Ledenika cave – Purshevitsa mountain hut – Vidin town

Transfer to the town of Vratsa and to the giant vertical rocks that surround the town, called Vratsata.

Transfer to Ledenika cave. The cave is about 300 m long and contains 10 separate halls.
The temperatures vary from –7°Ñ – 15°Ñ. The humidity of the air is 92%.
Tour in the cave. Lunch.

Transfer to Purshevitsa mountain hut. Easy hiking in the region (1 h 30 min).

Transfer to the town of Vidin situated near the Danube river.
1 overnight stay in a 3*** hotel.

Day 2

Vidin town - Belogradchik town – Belogradchik rocks – Magurata cave – Bov waterfall

Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the town of Belogradchik and Belogradchik rocks.

Belogradchik rocks are world famous and they are stated as a natural phenomenon! The length of the rocks is about 30 km, the width is 3-5 km with high altitude - 200 meters!

Transfer to Magurata cave - the oldest, biggest and prettiest cave in Bulgaria! Except for the fabulous formations inside, there are many traces of human population from ancient ages!

Tour in the cave. Lunch.

Transfer to Sofia. On the way back - optional visiting of the big waterfall near Bov village (1 hour).
