The Vratsa Balkan already provides horse mountaineering

The first route for horse mountaineering in Bulgaria has been opened, BNR reported.

Mountaineers will already have the opportunity to experience an adventure among picturesque nature. The tourists can admire one of the most famous and beautiful waterfalls Borov Kamak.

The Vratsa Balkan provides even a photo safari where can be seen deer herds, moufflons, wild boars and wild horses on area among amazing rocks, woods and meadows.

The horse mountaineering and the photo safari are part of the initiatives implemented for developing the alternative tourism in the Vratsa Balkan. There is an idea the alternative tourism to be bonded to the nature and culture-historic sites showing the Thracians heritage in this region.
